NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win the Olaplex Is Turning 8 Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”). A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram, nor is Instagram associated with this Sweepstakes in any way. By entering, you acknowledge that Instagram bears no responsibility for this promotion, and you release Instagram from any liability whatsoever in connection with this promotion. You understand that you are providing information to the Sponsor and not to Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes must be directed to the Sponsor, and not to Instagram.
To Enter
To enter, during the Entry Period, on Instagram (the “Entry Site”) create and publish two (2) posts on your feed featuring your salon, stylists and/or clients to show Sponsor how you celebrate each other. If you want, also decorate your salon for the posts with Olaplex colors. (Decorations are completely optional.) Entrants must use the following hashtags in their two (2) posts to be eligible for entry: #OLAPLEXCELEBRATES and #OLAPLEXTURNS8CONTEST. ENTRANT’S INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT MUST BE ON PUBLIC SETTING TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE.
Note: Entry must be made by the entrant, only at the Entry Site. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other Internet web site or email address, including but not limited to commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites, will be declared invalid and disqualified for this Sweepstakes. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited.
Prizes
There will be four (4) winners selected via a random drawing from all eligible entries. Each winner will receive the following prize package:

- (8) additional OLAPLEX products (to be determined).

Total ARV of each prize: $1114.00.
The odds of winning a prize are determined by the total number of eligible entries received. All prizes are awarded "as is" with no guarantee, either express or implied. If by reason of a printing, typographical, or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these official rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded. The prize will be shipped to the winners at the expense of the Sponsor.
Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to those legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry, who are licensed stylists or salon owners, and who meet the other eligibility requirements set forth herein. The officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents of the Sponsor or Promotion Entities (defined below) and the immediate families and those living in the same household of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. All Federal, state and local rules and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Entry Period
Sweepstakes starts on June 1, 2022 at approximately 12:01 AM EST and ends on June 26, 2022 at approximately 11:59 PM EST (the "Entry Period"). The sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Olaplex, Inc., 1187 Coast Village Road #1-520, Santa Barbara, California 93108, USA (the "Sponsor"). The Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein.
Winner Selection
Four (4) winners will be selected by random drawing on or about June 27, 2022 and will be notified by Instagram Direct Message on or about June 28, 2021. Once contacted, winners will have thirty (30) days to provide their US mailing address. After receipt of a winner’s address, prize will be shipped within four (4) weeks. Failure to respond to the direct message within thirty (30) days or to comply with any other provision may result in the winner being disqualified and an alternate winner selected. If a prize notification or a prize is returned as undeliverable for any reason, the applicable prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash. All decisions are final. All Federal, state and local tax liabilities are the responsibility of the winners.
General
Each entrant represents and warrants that he/she has obtained permission from any and all recognizable persons in their entry other than the entrant and agrees, upon request, to furnish written proof of such permission. By entering, you warrant and represent that each of your entries has been created by you as an original work, that all required third-party releases (if any) have been obtained in writing, and if your entry contains music, such music is royalty-free music. You further acknowledge and agree that Sponsor (and those acting with its authorization) may copy, reproduce, edit, broadcast and otherwise use your entries in any way in any medium whether now existing or later discovered, worldwide, in perpetuity, including but not limited to posting online on Sponsor’s social media pages.
Any entry containing any of the following will be disqualified:
- Violates or infringes another's rights, including without limitation, privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
- Contains material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
- Contains any unacceptable clothing, accessories, or adornments, or displays any commercial/corporate advertising other than that of the Sponsor;
- Contains indecent or unsafe behavior or situations, profanities or obscenities, including but not limited to nudity, or pornography, or is otherwise inappropriate, indecent, profane, obscene, hateful, tortuous, slanderous or libelous;
- Contains material that promotes illegal activity or violence;
- Contains or depicts someone smoking, intoxicated or under the influence of narcotics;
- References persons or organizations without their written permission other than that of Sponsor;
- Disparages or defames any persons or organizations including but not limited to Sponsor or any other person or party affiliated with the Sweepstakes;
- Includes threats to any person, place, business, or group;
- Is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to all applicable federal, state, or local laws and regulations;
- Contains anything that is determined to damage or diminish the goodwill of the Releasees (defined below), as determined by such entities solely in their respective discretion;
- Is otherwise inappropriate, objectionable, or unsuitable for the uses contemplated in these Official Rules, including for presentation in a public forum, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Entrants release and waive any claims they may have against Releasee for any and all injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind (including without limitation attorney's fees) resulting from acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize or parts thereof, or participation in this Sweepstakes. If for any reason, this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes, or any portion thereof.
If for any reason, this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if this Sweepstakes or any web site associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of the Sweepstakes and processing of entries in accordance with these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor's sole opinion, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled, the Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing to award all remaining prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect online entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. If such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension occurs, notification will be posted at the Entry Site. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Where a dispute arises about who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account entered. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry and that all eligibility requirements are met.
The Sponsor and any and all Internet server(s) and access provider(s) (collectively, "Promotion Entities"), and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations and advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively with the Promotion Entities, the "Releasees") are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human errors; technical malfunctions; failures, omissions, interruptions, deletions or defects of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software, including without limitation any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes; inability to access the Entry Site; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; data that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to telephone, computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on telephone lines or the Internet or any web site (including the Entry Site) or for any other reason whatsoever; printing or other errors; any entries which are late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, or any combination thereof.
